Lifting big bags with fewer loops than they were designed for can cause excessive stress on the bags, which can cause damage, make the load unstable and potentially hazardous to personnel.
Structure of lifting device.
Before lifting the jumbo sacks, make sure the forklift tines or hooks or bars have no sharp edges or protrusions. Tines, hooks, or support bars must have rounded edges and be properly sized with lifting loops or sleeves of a FIBC 1000kg bag.
