CONDUCTIVE FIBC BAGS

- Some bulk materials can create static energy during filling and discharging. In order to avoid this, grounded conductive big bags are adopted for filling flammable items. With the bags earthed, the application of the -60KV corona voltage produces a surface potential on bags of less than 5KV.- Type C FIBCs, also known as conductive FIBCs or ground-able FIBCs, are made from non-conductive polypropylene fabrics interwoven with conducting threads traditionally sewn in a grid pattern. These conducting threads must be electrically interconnected as well as connected to a designated ground/earth during filling and discharging

-Type C bags can effectively remove the static electricity generated from loading and unloading the
products, preventing combustion and explosion.

Baffles are the fabric that extends across the corners of the bag to help maintain its shape and to keep it from bulging. The baffles have holes to allow the bags to fill uniformly.

2. What is meant by “Sift Proofing”?

There are many methods of sift-proofing a bulk bag. The purpose is to prevent product leakage from the seams. A special felt or soft yarn is sewn into the seams.

3. What does SF mean?

Bulk bags can be reused under certain conditions. It is recommended that the bag be designed for reuse. Bags could have a defect such as a small hole or unstable loops which would make them unsuitable for reuse.

4. Can you customize the bag for me/my company?
